RALEIGH, N.C., Feb. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- On February 15, Shaw University will honor Ronald "Flip" Murray, who starred with the Shaw Bears in the 2000-01 and 2001-02 seasons, by officially retiring his number 22 Monday night before Shaw takes on Johnson C. Smith in men's basketball at C. C.

Flip Murray scored 25 points off the bench Friday, helping the Atlanta Hawks break the game open in the second half and defeat Milwaukee 117-87. The Hawks, who won their third straight game, led by only five early in the third period but wound up outscoring the Bucks by 19 in the second half. Murray hit 11-of-13 shots from the field and Josh Smith added 24 points and eight rebounds for the Hawks.

The Warriors trailed by a single point with nine minutes to play, but collapsed down the stretch to lose their fifth straight. Martin Williams had 22 points for the Hawks.
