Lastings Milledge hit a ninth-inning, game-winning two-run single Sunday, rallying the Pittsburgh Pirates to a 6-5 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers. Milledge's bases loaded single -- his only hit of the game -- capped a four-run rally in the bottom of the ninth. Andy LaRoche had two hits and two RBI, a run scored on an error by Rafael Furcal, another scored on Clayton Kershaw's third-inning wild pitch, and Andrew McCutchen had three of the 11 hits for the Pirates, who have won two of three. The winner was closer Matt Capps (4-8). Furcal's two RBI led Los Angeles.

Garland (11-11) used 95 pitches to produce his third quality start since being acquired from the Arizona Diamondbacks this month. Jeff Weaver hurled a scoreless ninth. LA's homer-happy offense was started by Ronnie Belliard's two-out, first-inning grand slam.
