The Royal Horticultural Society has bought a new stainless steel trowel, but its gardeners at Harlow Carr in Harrogate will not be using it. Sculptor Steve Blaylock has made the trowel 44 inches long and he has placed a butterfly with blue stained glass wings on its ash handle.
