Dan Uggla and Cody Ross hit back-to-back solo homers in the ninth inning Sunday, rallying Florida to a 3-2 win over the Chicago Cubs. Uggla's 19th homer erased a 2-1 deficit with one out in the bottom of the ninth and Ross followed with his second homer of the contest and 17th this season.

Kosuke Fukudome and Ryan Theriot drove in four runs each Thursday in the Chicago Cubs' 12-3 rout of Houston. Fukodome hit a two-run single in the second, an RBI double in the third and an RBI triple in the seventh. Theriot hit a two-run double in the second and knocked in a run with a sacrifice fly in the fifth, and Fukudome scored on a Theriot groundout in the seventh. Jake Fox and Milton Bradley hit back-to-back third-inning solo homers.

Alfonso Soriano hit a key three-run homer Saturday, boosting the Chicago Cubs to a 6-5 win over Washington. Soriano's 15th homer this season gave Chicago a 5-4 lead with one out in the sixth.
