Nearing the end of a dismal season, the Nationals continued a six-game winning streak in the third game of the four-game series. Cristian Guzman had two RBI for the Nats, while Ian Desmond hit a solo home run and Ryan Zimmerman scored a run and drove in one. Brian McCann drove in two and Greg Norton and Kelly Johnson had a pinch-hit RBI each for the Braves, who have dropped five straight. With the game tied 2-2, Guzman doubled to right in the 10th, scoring Zimmerman and Adam Dunn.
