By Terry Ganey, Columbia Daily Tribune, Mo. Sep. 25--The University of Missouri-Columbia School of Journalism library will need to rebind between 100 and 150 mold-damaged books and replace 15 others that had to be destroyed, a campus spokesman said today.

By Olivia Winslow, Newsday, Melville, N.Y. Jul. 18--Stony Brook University announced yesterday that it will open an undergraduate School of Journalism this fall -- a first for the 64-campus State University of New York system.

By Carl Corry Stony Brook University announced Monday that it has established the state's first undergraduate School of Journalism at a public university. The school, which will begin offering a bachelor's degree program this fall, said former Newsday Editor Howard Schneider will be the dean.

Sep. 18--The University of Missouri-Columbia's School of Journalism has announced the winners of the 2005 Missouri Honor Medals for Distinguished Service in Journalism.
