Serica Energy, an oil and gas exploration and production company, has been awarded the East Seruway production sharing contract offshore north Sumatra, Indonesia. The East Seruway production sharing contract (PSC) covers approximately 5,864sqkm of the offshore North Sumatra Basin, Indonesia.

Serica Energy, an oil and gas exploration and production company, has submitted the development program for the Columbus field in the UK Central North Sea to the UK government. In December 2006 Serica announced the discovery of the Columbus gas-condensate field with well 23/16f-11.

UK-based Serica Energy has reached agreement with RWE Dea, for RWE to farm into Serica's exploration license PEL 01/06 covering three blocks in the southern Slyne Basin off the west coast of Ireland. Completion is subject to the receipt of the required Irish government approvals.
