By Sally Apgar, South Florida Sun-Sentinel May 30--SINGER ISLAND -- Dump trucks carrying the first of more than 4,000 loads of sand rolled onto the beach Tuesday to rebuild 10-foot-high dunes to protect homes and buildings along the shore just as hurricane season arrives.
