By Jennifer L. Boen, The News-Sentinel, Fort Wayne, Ind. Feb. 4--Ann Cirullo was just 38 when in 1995 she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Getting it at such a young age was a shock to the Fort Wayne woman, a claims examiner for K&K Insurance Group.
The following editorial appeared in the Philadelphia Inquirer on Monday, Dec. 10: Breast cancer scares the heck out of women _ and the men who love them. Research has done much to identify its causes and to treat it, but as long as women are dying as a result of the disease, more work is needed.
