Japan-based Skymark Airlines has trimmed its annual operating profit forecast by 89% following the cancellation of several flights due to a pilot shortage, Reuters has reported. The airline reportedly said that it would be canceling 10% of its flights in June after two pilots left.

Tokyo, June 9 (Jiji Press)--Skymark Airlines said Monday it will cancel a total of 465 flights in July and August amid a shortage of pilots. The company said it expects to normalize its flights in September as it can secure enough pilots by that time.
