St. Louis Rams wide receiver Laurent Robinson will likely miss the rest of the season with a broken leg and sprained ankle. Rams Coach Steve Spagnuolo said Tuesday Robinson suffered a high ankle sprain and also a fracture high on his fibula.

Marc Bulger's status for Sunday is in doubt after St. Louis Coach Steve Spagnuolo revealed Monday the Rams quarterback has a bruised rotator cuff. Bulger took a hit Sunday from Aaron Kampman in a 36-17 loss to Green Bay.

St. Louis Rams quarterback Marc Bulger suffered a fracture of the little finger of his passing hand Monday, and will miss the next two weeks, the team said. Rams Coach Steve Spagnuolo called it a small fracture that was shown to be non-displaced.

Philadelphia Eagles defensive coordinator Jim Johnson died of melanoma skin cancer Tuesday at the age of 68. When Johnson's cancer was diagnosed in January, it was hoped he could return to coaching after radiation treatments.

Sean McDermott, who has been with the team since 1998, will become the defensive coordinator of the NFL's Philadelphia Eagles. McDermott will take over for Jim Johnson, who is on an indefinite leave of absence from the team while he undergoes cancer treatment.
