Daewoo wants part in Indonesian nuclear project JAKARTA, April 12 (Xinhua) -- South Korean-based trading company Daewoo International wants to be involved in Indonesia's first nuclear power plant project, offering its services and experience in building such plants, local press said Saturday.
The death of former Indonesian President Suharto did not come as a surprise to the Indonesian media. The 86-year old Suharto had been in poor health for some years and his death was widely expected after he was rushed to hospital on 4 January.
The death of former Indonesian dictator Suharto is an opportunity for victims of his repressive regime to get justice, Human Rights Watch said.
