Since we stopped publishing Spectator, our weekly television guide, the most common complaint we've received from readers is the lack of daytime program listings. In response to that feedback, we are publishing daytime TV listings on Saturdays and Sundays.
The Box, featuring TV Week: free in The Press, every Tuesday. The Box used to mean the TV. Now, the box is a TV -- or more and more a computer -- that turns DVDs, streams radio, plays games, surfs the internet and downloads video clips and feature-length movies.
Since Weekend was first published 14 years ago, television and viewing habits have undergone a revolution. It's hard to remember now, but back in 1993 there were still only four terrestrial channels, and satellite and cable TV were in their infancy.
