The Alcatel-Lucent cable ship Ile de Sein landed in the Greenland's capital city Nuuk, the 2,100km section of Tele Greenland's submarine cable network.

Alcatel-Lucent has announced the signing of an E90 million turnkey contract with Tele Greenland to deploy a 4,600km submarine cable network linking Greenland to Iceland and Canada.
