TeleCommunication Systems, a provider of wireless communications technology, has won a $8.3 million contract to provide a Department of Defense Command with communications professional services. The delivery of these professional services will be over the four quarters ending in July 2009.

TeleCommunication Systems has received orders for approximately $5.8 million in messaging and location software and related systems in the second quarter of 2008 for deliveries expected before June 30, 2008.
