The Israel Broadcasting Authority (IBA), Israel's public broadcaster, will drop the analogue satellite transmission of its Channel 1 network on 20 July, The Jerusalem Post website reported on 10 July. The analogue service is carried via the Amos 2 satellite at four degrees west.
