Text of report by private Georgian news agency Kavkas-Press Tbilisi, 26 August: Russia's recognition of the [independence] of Abkhazia and South Ossetia will lead to its isolation from the international community, Minister of State for Reintegration Temur Iakobashvili has told Kavkas-Press.
The Georgian minister of state for reintegration, Temur Iakobashvili, said on 12 August that Russian aircraft had dropped bombs near the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline. "They have again tried to bomb the Baku-Ceyhan oil pipeline. They dropped shells, but fortunately missed once again.
Text of report by private Georgian news agency Kavkas-Press Tbilisi, 19 May: In conversation with Kavkas-Press, Georgian Minister of State for Reintegration Temur Iakobashvili has described as absolute foolishness the report by Russia's Kommersant [newspaper] about Georgian-Abkhaz agreements concerning a peaceful settlement plan [regarding the Georgian-Abkhaz conflict].
Text of report by private Georgian news agency Kavkas-Press Tbilisi, 14 May: Georgian Minister of State [for Reintegration] Temur Iakobashvili will pay a visit to Moscow on 16 May. Iakobashvili made this announcement himself after his return from Paris this morning.
Tensions between Russia and Georgia grew worse amid claims Russia troops forced residents in the breakaway Abkhazia republic to adopt Russian passports.
