KOTA KINABALU: The Transport Ministry has approved three new air routes to connect Kota Kinabalu, Kuching and Miri with Singapore on budget airline AirAsia. The three direct flight routes are expected to start before the year-end.

By Marc Lourdes BUDGET airline Firefly is looking to expand its network by opening a new route connecting Kuala Lumpur, Kuala Terengganu and Johor Baru. The airline has purchased a third aircraft, a Fokker 50, to service the new route, which is scheduled to begin operations on December 18.
