By David Heldreth, Desert Dispatch, Barstow, Calif. Jan. 7--BARSTOW -- The Mohave tui chub is just looking for a home. The Mohave tui chub is the only fish that is native to the Mojave River system, but it can't be found there anymore.

By Hillary Borrud, Daily Press, Victorville, Calif. Aug. 13--APPLE VALLEY -- A small, endangered fish that has disappeared from the Mojave River seven decades ago will return to the Victor Valley area this fall in a refuge to be constructed at the Lewis Center.
