By Rod Walton, Tulsa World, Okla. Mar. 6--CATOOSA -- A steel processor will consolidate its Oklahoma City and Tulsa facilities and move to a new 42,000-square-foot warehouse at the Tulsa Port of Catoosa later this year.
Port and longshore workers, truckers and others at the Tulsa Port of Catoosa will begin enrolling tomorrow in the Department of Homeland Security's Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) program.
By Rod Walton, Tulsa World, Okla. Dec. 13--Cargo traffic at the Tulsa Port of Catoosa was down slightly last month, according to a tonnage report released Wednesday. Barges shipped 178,842 tons in and out of the port in November.
By ROD WALTON Umicore may cut about 50 salaried positions from the Tulsa catalyst factory it's buying from Delphi Corp., a Delphi spokesman said Tuesday. The Tulsa Port of Catoosa manufacturing plant employs about 300 people, according to reports.
