By YAHYA BARZANJI TUZ KHORMATO, Iraq - A suicide bomber detonated a truck full of explosives in the crowded outdoor market of a Shiite farm town on Saturday, killing more than 100 people and levelling houses and stores, police officials said.

A string of suicide bombings killed at least 73 people and wounded dozens in Shiite villages north of Baghdad, including a large truck bombing Saturday that ripped through an outdoor market and buried victims in rubble, officials said.

A suicide truck bomber struck a market in a predominantly Shiite area of Baghdad on Saturday, killing at least 121 people and wounding scores among the crowd buying food for evening meals, the most devastating strike in the capital in more than two months.
