Gazprom has begun started operations on the inter-settlement gas pipeline connecting the Zekhnovo automated gas distribution station and the town of Ostashkov in the Tver Oblast of Russia.

MOSCOW. June 2 (Interfax) - The first power unit of the Kalinin nuclear power plant (NPP) was switched to the power grid on Monday, after brief planned repairs, the Rosenergoatom company announced. The unit was shut down on Saturday.

MOSCOW. Jan 25 (Interfax) - The first energy unit of the Kalinin nuclear power plant (NPP) has been connected to the grid, the press service of the Rosenergoatom concern said. The junction of one of the pipelines was successfully repaired at the energy unit within 24 hours, the press service said.

TVER. Jan 24 (Interfax) - The first unit of the Kalinin nuclear power plant in Russia's Tver region has been halted for pipeline repairs, a power plant source told Interfax. The unit was halted at 2:00 a.m. Moscow time on Thursday. "We had to shut down the reactor for the repairs," the source said.
