Alex Cora had three hits and Mike Pelfrey earned his first win in more than a month Tuesday to lead the New York Mets past Baltimore 6-4 in inter-league play. Pelfrey (5-2) allowed two runs on five hits to end a six-start winless streak. Francisco Rodriguez got his 17th save of the year.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - Juan Rivera hit a pair of two-run doubles, including one during a 10-run second inning, and the Los Angeles Angels beat the Tampa Bay Devil Rays 15-6 on Wednesday. Maicer Izturis had two hits and drove in three runs in the second, when the Angels took a 12-4 lead.
