By Joe Oliver The 88-year-old was admitted to the Ulster Hospital at Dundonald just over three weeks ago following concerns about his mobility. One report suggested doctors had pinpointed medication, which he was taking to control his cholesterol level, as a problem.

A spokeswoman for the Ulster Hospital in Dundonald last night refused to confirm or deny if he is being treated at the Co Down hospital. However, it is understood the 88-year-old has been treated in the hospital's intensive care unit for several weeks.
