LONDON, Nov. 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Two female brain tumor patients have become the first people in the south of England to be treated using a faster form of radiotherapy that extends more advanced care to more patients.

Regular handwashing by hospital staff and visitors did more to prevent the spread of the MRSA superbug than isolating infected patients.

They have written to management at University College Hospital in Galway claiming that overcrowding in the hospital's A and E department has worsened significantly this year.This is adversely affecting patient care and may even be leading to deaths according to the doctors.The letter also claimed that despite the problem being continually highlighted by staff no meaningful plan has been put in place to address the issue.
