Univision, (NYSE:UVN) the nation's leading Spanish-language television network, announced today that it has named Edna Schmidt as the new anchor of the weekend edition of "Noticiero Univision." She will co-anchor the weekend newscasts with Sergio Urquidi which air at 6:30pmET/5:30pmCT and 11:30pmET/10:30pmCT on Saturdays and Sundays.
