Kevin Durant recorded 20 points and 10 rebounds Friday, helping the Oklahoma City Thunder end its inaugural home season with an 84-81 victory over Charlotte. The Bobcats saw their playoff hopes come to an end. Durant made a free throw with 1 second to play and Vladimir Radmanovic's desperation 3-point attempt at the buzzer failed to go, leaving the Thunder with a 15-26 home record. It was their first campaign in Oklahoma City after moving from Seattle following the 2007-08 campaign. Nenad Krstic contributed 19 points for Oklahoma City, which won for just the second time in nine games. Charlotte lost for the fourth time in five games, ending its bid for the franchise's first post-season berth.

Gerald Wallace scored 25 points Wednesday and helped Charlotte dominate the second half en route to a 103-94 win over Indiana. A nine-point run in the third quarter allowed the Bobcats to open a 14-point lead and they went on to win for the third time in four games. Raymond Felton added 16 points and Vladimir Radmanovic had 15 for the Bobcats. Indiana, which has dropped 10 straight games on the road, also lost Danny Granger early in the second quarter with a sprained right foot.

D.J. Augustin led a hot shooting performance and scored 24 points Wednesday, carrying Charlotte to a 101-89 victory over Washington. The Bobcats closed the game with an 8-2 run and handed the Wizards their sixth straight road loss.

Emeka Okafor had 19 points and 16 rebounds Monday to lead the Charlotte Bobcats to a 94-73 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers. D.J.

Kobe Bryant helped Los Angeles pull away in the third period Thursday and the Lakers cruised past their closest division rival with a 105-92 win over Phoenix. The Lakers have won two in a row after suffering their only loss of the season.
