HP (NYSE:HPQ) today announced the appointment of Lynn Pendergrass as senior vice president for the Americas region of its Imaging and Printing Group (IPG), which includes the United States, Canada, Mexico, Latin America and the Caribbean.

By Brandon Bailey, San Jose Mercury News, Calif. Jun. 19--Hewlett-Packard on Wednesday announced "significant" reorganization plans for one of its most profitable divisions, combining five groups into three within the printing and imaging division of the world's biggest technology company.

During a hectic stretch in the waning days of May, Vyomesh Joshi, Hewlett-Packard's (HPQ) high-energy printing chief, was darting around Europe and the Middle East. On May 29, he was in Dsseldorf, Germany, to unveil a line of high-end machines aimed at newspapers and publishers.

HP has appointed Neal Woods as its senior vice president of worldwide operations for the company's imaging and printing group, effective January 22, 2008.
