CHICAGO, March 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Chicago's First Lady Cruises and the Chicago Architecture Foundation (CAF) open the 2010 season of the official Chicago Architecture Foundation River Cruises, Saturday, May 1, 2010 and continue through Sunday, November 21, 2010.
About 40 wooden pilings caught fire in the Chicago River near the Loop Friday, cloaking the area with a heavy gray fog and disrupting rush-hour traffic. The fire broke out about 6:45 a.m, its origin unknown. There were no injuries reported, the Chicago Tribune said.
