By WENDY M. FONTAINE; OF THE NEWS STAFF WINTER HARBOR - Winter Harbor will be the first of two communities to vote on whether to accept Steuben pupils into the Peninsula Consolidated School District. The issue will be addressed during a special town meeting at 7 p.m.

By WENDY M. FONTAINE; OF THE NEWS STAFF STEUBEN - Voters on Monday decided to close the 44-year-old Ella Lewis School and merge with the Peninsula Consolidated School District. The proposal was approved by a vote of 180-159, deputy town clerk Ann Briggs said late Monday evening.
