Gusty winds pushed a wildfire closer to Sun Valley Resort's ski area on Tuesday, while hundreds more homes were ordered evacuated in the valley below.

By Pete Zimowsky, The Idaho Statesman, Boise Aug. 3--If you want to escape to the mountains this weekend, face it, there are places you can't go because of wildfires. It's not as bad as it sounds although 17 fires are burning across Idaho and more than 900,000 acres are going up in smoke.
