The visibility on the course was too obscured and led to the postponement of the women's super G until Sunday and the outright cancellation of the men's downhill in the final event before next week's world championships in France. American Marco Sullivan said fog had been an issue during this week's training runs; however, the mist had been clearing up by afternoon.
