A 40-acre parcel of land in the Amazon Creek headwaters has been purchased for $1.6 million by the city of Eugene. Owned by Aurora developer Joe Green, the land is located between Dillard Road and Nectar Way near East and West Amazon Drive. Green purchased the property four years ago for $325,000 and had asked the city $3.4 million for the property.
