The Caucasian Squirrel or Persian Squirrel (Sciurus anomalus), is a species of rodent in the Sciuridae family. It is found throughout Armenia,Azerbaijan, Georgia, Greece, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, and Turkey. It is naturally found to thrive in temperate forests.
