Dodge is an automobile manufacturer founded in 1900 by Horace Elgin Dodge and brother John Francis. Originally named the Dodge Brothers Company, a supplier of parts and assemblies to Detroit automakers. They began producing complete automobiles in 1915. After the death of the Dodge brothers in 1920, sales dropped and Dodge’s rank fell from third to seventh by 1927.
