The North Dakota Game and Fish Department will enhance enforcement on the Missouri River this weekend by having more game wardens than usual in the Bismarck-Mandan area. Robert Timian, chief of enforcement, said wardens will be noticeable during the long Labor Day weekend.

By JENNYMICHAEL The cool waters of the Missouri River pull in boaters, swimmers, rafters, fishermen and others annually as the mercury rises in Bismarck and Mandan. But as the temperatures heat up, the North Dakota Game and Fish Department hopes the tempers of river enthusiasts won't do the same.
