In an effort to raise safety awareness and encourage drivers to buckle up, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration released figures of fatalities as Memorial Day approaches.The positive news was that belt use among drivers and passengers has risen from 81 percent in 2006 to 82 percent in 2007.
