Solar panels have been installed on the roof of Lincoln's City Hall in an energy saving move. Yesterday eight solar panels were installed on the roof and the city council estimates they will save pounds800 a year in energy bills. Estimations show the panels will make an annual energy saving of 16,000 kWh, which is enough to supply five households with hot water for an entire year.
