Looking Back At 17th Century Scientist’s Idea Of Space Travel

In 1640, John Wilkins was the first to speculate on space travel by considering the problems of traveling to the Moon, such as overcoming the gravitational pull of the Earth, the coldness of space and what astronauts would eat during their journey.
