Fundraisers behind the Daisy Appeal are launching a new campaign to buy a pounds5m hospital scanner to help East Yorkshire patients suffering from Alzheimer's disease and cancer. Professor Nick Stafford, chairman of the charity, said the hi- tech scanner would be used by Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust to help investigate various cardiac, neurological and cancer conditions.
