A test flight for an experimental aircraft failed over the Pacific Ocean on Thursday morning. The aircraft, known as the Falcon Hypersonic Technology Vehicle 2, was launched at 7:45 a.m. from Vandenberg Air Force Base. The US Defense Department is recruiting hackers to help it bolster its defenses against cyberattacks, a former hacker now working with the government said on Thursday.
