Actress Natalie Portman is attached to play the lead in Darren Aronofsky's ballet thriller Black Swan, The Hollywood Reporter said. Portman would play a veteran ballerina locked in a competitive situation with a rival dancer who could be real, a supernatural apparition or a hallucination, the entertainment industry trade newspaper said. If negotiations go well, Aronofsky could start shooting Swan with Portman as early as this year, The Hollywood Reporter said.
