British pop star Elton John did not file a request to adopt a Ukrainian boy after a recent visit to an orphanage in the Donetsk Region, a city official said. U.S. pop star Beyonce performed at the opening of the Donbass Arena in Donetsk, Ukraine, the venue said. The arena is the first soccer stadium in Eastern Europe to be designed and built to UEFA five-star standards. It will now become home to UEFA Cup Champions, FC Shakhtar.
