VH1 has announced plans to air a new 90-minute live special called "New Kids on the Block: A Behind The Music Special Event" later this month. The program, featuring all five original members of the recently reunited 1990s boy band, is to premiere Sept. 28.
The return of the New Kids on the Block will get the VH1 "Behind The Music" treatment - only this time, the gossipy rise-and- fallfest will be broadcast live from Boston! According to Perez Hilton, the music channel is planning to air a 90-minute special called "New Kids On The Block: A Behind The Music Special Event" at 8 p.m.

The U.S. pop group New Kids on the Block is to release its first new album in nearly 15 years next month, Interscope Records said Monday. "The Block" is set to drop Sept. 2, the label said.
