Low-cost carrier Ryanair is to stop flights between East Midlands Airport and Shannon. Nine baggage weighing scales at East Midlands Airport were found to be giving inaccurate readings. Trading standards officers carried out routine checks at the Castle Donington airport and found nine out of 52 scales were faulty.
