2011-11-01 04:55:52

According to papers filed on Thursday of last week, federal prosecutors and former astronaut Edgar Mitchell have settled on an agreement over a camera brought back during the Apollo 14 moon mission. Mitchell claimed the camera was a gift from NASA, which he tried auctioning off.  The papers said Mitchell will give up any claim to the 16 mm motion picture camera and agree to return it to NASA.  The Apollo 14 camera shot the final five minutes of the Antares landing. Both...

Former astronaut Edgar Mitchell says a camera he brought back from the 1971 Apollo 14 moon mission was given to him by NASA despite the space agency's lawsuit asking for it back, according to a recent Associated Press report. Mitchell lawyer Donald Jacobson wants NASA to dismiss its case, saying that a four-year statute of limitations has long since run out and that there are no records to disprove his contention that the camera was a gift. "Dr. Edgar Mitchell is an American hero,"...

Edgar Mitchell, the sixth man to walk on the moon, is currently locked in a legal battle with NASA over who owns a movie camera that flew aboard the Apollo 14 mission with him in 1971. Mitchell apparently decided he deserved a souvenir and took the lunar movie camera home with him after his mission ended. Then, 40 years later, he tried to auction off the camera. "Objects from the lunar trips to the moon were ultimately mounted and then presented to the astronauts as a gift after they had...

By LORNE JACKSON ARGHH! The aliens have landed! The aliens have landed! Hopefully they'll only nab the really useless earthlings, and whisk them back to the milky-green moon of Zorg. Which means every doctor, nurse and firemen will have to vacate the planet. While all the manicurists, interpretive dancers and newspaper columnists can stay right here, continuing to perform their essential duties. Maybe you think I'm being paranoid about the arrival of ET. Not at all. An...

An ex-NASA astronaut says he is still totally sure life exists elsewhere in the universe and earthly governments have tried to hide the existence of aliens. Edgar Mitchell, a 77-year-old former National Aeronautics and Space Administration astronaut who walked on the moon for nine hours in the Apollo 14 mission Feb. 9, 1971, remains strong in his stance that aliens are real, the Daily Telegraph reported Saturday. There's not much question at all that there is life throughout the universe....

Dr. Edgar Mitchell, a former NASA astronaut and moon-walker who was a veteran of the Apollo 14 mission, has made a shocking claim that aliens from another planet do, indeed, exist and that governments have been covering it up for over 60 years. Mitchell, 77, claims extra-terrestrials have visited Earth on numerous occasions and said sources at the space agency who had had contact with aliens described the beings as 'little people who look strange to us.' He said supposedly real-life ET's look...
