The Elo is a German breed, first bred in 1987. The breed is a combination of nine different breeds and 16 specific dogs. The Elo is predominantly Eurasier. It is also 23% Old English Sheepdog and 10% Chow Chow. The other 6 breeds used remain in smaller percentages. The Elo has shown likelihood to be affected by Distichia, an eyelash that rises from an abnormal spot on the eyelid of the animal. This can lead to further eye problems.
