Suzhousaurus is a genus of therizinosaurid dinosaur from the Early Cretaceous Period. It was discovered in the Xinminpu Group of the Yujingzi Basin, Gansu, China. Falcarius, meaning "sickle cutter", is a genus of dinosaur from the Early Cretaceous Period (130 to 125 mya). This therizinosaurid dinosaur was the first of its kind to be found in North America. The fossils were found in east-central Utah, USA in 2005. Based on fossils recovered from another closely related specimen in China, scientists may clarify this specimen's relationship to the larger family of theropod dinosaurs.
