Notre Dame Coach Charlie Weiss says his team did a heck of a job ignoring Honolulu's tropical distractions to rip Hawaii 49-21 in Christmas Eve's Hawaii Bowl. Notre Dame snapped an NCAA-record nine-game bowl losing streak. The Fighting Irish won their first bowl game since beating Texas A&M at the 1994 Cotton Bowl. It's been a long time since we've won a bowl game, said Weiss, who spent most of the game in the coaches box above the field because of a bad knee that will require surgery....
