The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a voluntary recall of Catalina Halogen Clamp Lamps due to a fire and burn hazard. The clamp-mounted lamps made in China for Catalina Lighting Inc. of Miami were sold exclusively at Staples retail stores from July 2008 through October 2008 for about $50, the commission said.
